Glad you're not weirded out about me actually living in the same county. When I was first tooling around LJ, and dabbling in LOTR fics, there was this one AU that was just really clever. It was set in a renaissance faire, and the writer just got so many things bang on. when I left feedback, I mentioned the acting group I worked with and how we worked renaissance faires. The reply I got was, "Kerry, it's me. Bronwyn".

oh. holy shit. It was one of the girls from my guild! I'd known her since she was 16, (she was 24 by this time) and I was all "O-O. Bronwyn's writing fic!! Double crap, she knows I'm reading fic!!"

we laugh about it now, but it was strange at first.

I'm totally loving bandom, FOB in particular, so I appreciate you adding me. Were you from this area, or did you just move here for school? I've been on the central coast for 24 yrs. now. (a little bit in Los Osos, and then my husband and I have lived in AG for 21 yrs.)

My mom was from the area and I moved here to go to Cuesta and be closer to all my family. Plus, now I go to Cal Poly, so it's easier.

It's just lil jokes that ppl either don't get or just don't think is funny, like:
