1. Frank Iero
Spencer always tried to be different than Ryan. He loved Ryan, but he needed his own personality at some point. It was bad enough his own family thought he liked the same things as Ryan; he didn’t need other people thinking the same thing.
So, when Ryan showed Spencer some new band, My Chemical Romance, and professing undying love for the singer, Spencer made sure not to fall for the singer. He instead picked the short punky guitar player who hung all over the singer.
Years later when Panic! At the Disco was formed, had Jon, and was famous enough to go to after parties (even if they were thrown by Pete), Spencer finally meet the short punky guitar player.
“Hi. I’m Frank,” he grinned up at Spencer.
“Uh, hi,” Spencer replied. He wasn’t used to being around people more famous than him. Or around people he had a crush on.
“So, I hear your guitar player loves my singer.”
Spencer laughed. “Yeah. I guess so.”
“Gerard is pretty easy to love,” Frank beamed.
They talked for a while before Brendon bopped over and hung over Spencer’s shoulder to shout, “Hey! It’s the guy you like!” He smacked a kiss on Spencer’s cheek and ran off to antagonize Ryan, who was talking to Gerard.
Spencer flushed and glared after Brendon’s fleeting form. “Jerk.”
Frank threw his head back and laughed. “You know,” he said, throwing an arm around Spencer’s shoulders, “I am pretty easy to love too.”
Spencer smiled shyly and continued talking about his favorite horror movie. If his crush didn’t faze Frank, then it wouldn’t faze Spencer.
2. Gerard Way
Frank was right; Gerard Way was pretty easy to love. Spencer blushed as he watched Gerard on stage. Spencer and his band were at some awards show and My Chemical Romance was performing. Spencer was off to the side, with Ryan next to him.
“Fuck, Gerard is hot,” Ryan muttered.
Spencer didn’t say anything. From behind them, Brendon said, “Ryan loooooves Gerard!”
Jon laughed and hooked an arm over Ryan’s shoulders. “Ryan just loves lead singers.”
Ryan scowled, shoved Jon’s arm off of him, and stalked away. Brendon ran after him shouting, “What did he mean?”
“You shouldn’t tease Ryan about his singer fetish,” Spencer said.
Jon shrugged, “He needs someone to tease him.”
They stood in silence and watched My Chemical Romance finish up. The other band ran off stage and passed them.
Bob waved at Spencer as he passed and Spencer waved back. As Gerard passed, the singer grinned widely at Spencer. Spencer felt his face heat up and he looked away.
Frank walked over to Spencer and said, “Didn’t I say?” Then the guitarist followed the rest of his band backstage.
Jon laughed next to him. “You and Ryan are kind of similar.”
“Shut up,” Spencer muttered and gave Jon a little shove.
Jon laughed again and grabbed Spencer’s arm. “Let us go find our wayward band mates.”
Spencer followed behind Jon thinking, I need to get different crushes than two-fifths of My Chemical Romance.
3. Vicky-T Asher
Spencer’s crush on Vicky-T was unexpected. Mainly because Spencer didn’t really get crushes on girls. Vicky-T, however, was not like most girls. She was in fact, more awesome.
Vicky-T quirked an eyebrow at Spencer as he stood next to her. They were at another of Pete’s parties. Ryan and him walked up to the keytarist together, but then Ryan soon left him alone with Vicky-T.
“Aren’t you in Pete’s baby band?” she asked.
“It’s not Pete’s band,” Spencer scowled.
She smiled. “I see. It’s still a baby band though. You are all so young.”
“We aren’t that young,” Spencer stated. He didn’t want Vicky-T to think of him as a baby, although he wasn’t sure why.
“You’re what? 18? 19? To me, that is a baby.”
Spencer glared at her. Once he realized what he was doing, he stopped and blushed. “Sorry.”
“I don’t mind,” she replied with a smirk. “It’s nice to see someone else’s bitchface for a change. Oh, I think your friend is hitting on Gabe. You might want to go save him.”
Spencer turned and watched Ryan smiling at Gabe and putting a hand on the singer’s arm. Spencer wasn’t sure Ryan needed saving.
“I think Ryan will be ok. I’d rather talk to you anyway.”
Vicky-T smiled at him. “Pete was telling everyone how Brendon was the charmer, he didn’t mention anything about you.”
Spencer felt his skin heat up once more. Vicky-T looked like she was going to comment, but she glanced away from Spencer and looked behind him.
“I’d love to talk to you more, but I have to go help Alex pull Ryland out from…somewhere,” she sighed. Vicky-T pulled Spencer down a bit and kissed his cheek and said, “Maybe another time.”
Spencer stared as she walked away and put a hand to his cheek. Vicky-T was awesome.
4. Dallon Weekes
Spencer’s crush on Dallon was a bad idea. A very bad idea. Or so Brendon kept telling him.
“It’s a bad idea,” Brendon hissed at him as they sat in the back of their tour bus.
“Why are you hissing at me?” Spencer asked and moved away from Brendon.
“Because they might be able to hear us!” Brendon waved his hands towards the front of the bus, where Dallon and Ian were jamming.
“So?”
“You don’t want Dallon, or Ian, to hear about your stupid crush on Dallon!”
Spencer frowned at Brendon. “I have actually no idea what you are talking about.”
Brendon sighed and put his head in his hands. “I think I might have to give up on you. I didn’t know you were so dumb. I’m going to leave now. You should think about what I am saying to you right now: don’t let Dallon, or Ian, hear about your stupid crush on Dallon.”
Spencer blinked as Brendon walked backwards out of the back lounge, mouthing the same thing over and over. Spencer frowned as he tried to work out what Brendon was telling him. As he sat, staring into space, Dallon walked in.
“Whoa! That is a fierce thinking look. What’s going on?” the bassists asked. He shut the door behind him and sat down.
“Brendon was trying to tell me something, without actually telling me. I’m trying to figure it out.”
“Is it about Ian’s crush on you?”
“Wait. What?”
Dallon shifted in discomfort. “So, I guess it wasn’t about that.”
Spencer was going to reply, when the bus stopped. Brendon opened the door, with a glare.
“We’re here. What’s this about?” the singer waved a hand in between Spencer and Dallon.
“Nothing,” said Spencer. “Where’s Ian?”
“The dressing room. He wanted to make sure his guitar’s were set up properly,” Brendon replied. “Which reminds me, I should do that too. Come along Dallon.”
Dallon smirked at Spencer and let Brendon tug him off the bus.
Spencer’s crush on Dallon was a bad idea and short lived.
5. Ian Crawford
Spencer’s crush on Ian started when he first met the young guitarist. The Cab had been signed to the label, lost a guitarist, and found Ian all in a semi-short time period. Spencer felt like kind of a creep for having a crush on Ian, even if they weren’t too far apart in age. Spencer didn’t tell anyone, but Brendon figured it out pretty quickly.
“If you tell anyone, I will end you,” Spencer threatened.
Brendon held his hands up in surrender. “All right, all right. Jeez. I don’t care. I think it’s kind of sweet to see you get all flustery when you talk to him.”
“I don’t get flustery!”
Brendon smirked at him. “Ok, Spence. Whatever you say.”
Spencer glared at his friend and stalked away. He considered the matter closed. It wasn’t until Jon and Ryan left to do other things that his crush was brought up once again.
“Spence,” Brendon whispered as the cuddled on a bed at the singer’s house. They had been at Brendon’s house for nearly a week, not doing anything.
“What?”
“We need more members. While I can play everything, I can’t do it all at once.”
“What were you thinking?”
“We could ask people to tour with us and then see what happens.”
Spencer looked down at Brendon. “You have someone in mind,” he stated. Spencer knew Brendon and he knew the singer had been thinking about this since Ryan and Jon told them they wanted to leave.
“Ian.”
“Ok.”
“I mean, I know you have this huge, ridiculous crush on him and it’ll probably be really awkward for you, but…”
“Bren, I said ok.”
“Oh. Well, great,” Brendon smiled up at Spencer and snuggled closer to the drummer.

It was weeks later, when Ian and Dallon joined them on tour, that Spencer regretted saying ok. Having Ian half naked on the bus all the time was driving Spencer crazy. Then he got his stupid crush on Dallon for no reason he could think of. And now, Spencer is standing in front of the dressing room, hoping that Brendon and Dallon weren’t in there.
Spencer took a deep breath and walked in the room. He saw Ian sitting on the floor, playing a guitar. “Uh, hey Ian.”
Ian looked up and smiled. “Hey Spencer! You looking for Dallon? Or Brendon?”
Spencer winced. I guess Ian did find out about my stupid crush on Dallon. “No, I was, uh, looking for you.”
Ian blinked from behind his hair. “Dude. You’ve been avoiding me for, like, weeks.”
Spencer sat down next to Ian and said, “That’s because I’m a moron.” He leaned in and kissed Ian.
Ian pulled away and laughed. “You are pretty dumb. Pretty and dumb. But you do make up for it in a great way.”
Spencer flushed and rubbed the back of his neck. “Yeah, well…” Spencer trailed off not knowing what to say.
Ian chuckled, set aside his guitar and climbed onto Spencer’s lap. “Just make out with me for a bit. Before Brendon and Dallon come and interrupt us.”
“I’m down with that,” Spencer replied. He pulled Ian down and kissed him again.

Later that night, as Spencer laid in bed with Ian, just cuddling no matter what Brendon thought, the drummer was glad this one crush had worked out.
